FAQ
Slimes often become runny or sticky when they sit for a few days or are exposed to heat. Especially clear-based slimes. If your slime is sticky or runny apply some activator from the spray provided and mix it in vigorously. If you think your slime will be stick, put a bit of lotion or activator on your hands before handling your slime. This will keep it from sticking to you. Follow the tips on THIS PAGE for additional help.
This is your activator spray. Give your slime a few spritzes if it's sticky or runny. Don't add a lot at one time or your slime will become over-activated and hard. You can also use activator on fabrics, rugs, or hair if your slime is stuck. If you run out of activator you can apply some contact lens solution, or make activator using borax mixed with with warm water.
When slime is over-activated it will become too firm, hard to stretch, or a bit crumbly. It is fixable though, you don't have to throw your slime away! If you have a clear slime apply a little bit of vegetable glycerine and rub it in well before adding more until you have the consistency you want. If you have a butter slime, add warm water, a little at a time, until it's just right.
